A permanent home will give MSY the freedom to plan around the rhythms and needs of Montessori education.

Growing Together · The vision
A permanent home will give MSY the stability to plan for Montessori education today and for generations to come.
A permanent home
Leased facilities have supported MSY’s work. MSY cannot remain in its current facility. A purchased parcel gives the school a foundation for planning a new home around children.
The exact campus design is still to come. The campus plan will take shape through design, permitting, and professional review.
Montessori education is rooted in purposeful work, independence, observation, and connection. Those values—not an unapproved floor plan—will guide the vision for MSY’s future home.
A permanent home will give MSY the freedom to plan around the rhythms and needs of Montessori education.
The next chapter will make room for the relationships among children, guides, and families that define MSY.
Long-term stability will let future leaders focus on children rather than the next relocation.
Campus details will be shaped with school leadership and design professionals as planning advances.
With the property purchased, the school will share approved campus plans as they take shape. For now, the promise is clear: protect the learning community that families know and help it thrive for the next 60 years and beyond.
The work ahead
With the property purchased, building design, construction timing, and final costs are the next planning priorities. We will share more when those decisions have been made and approved.
